Ozarks Technical Community College // MHC Diesel Technician Training Center

The MHC Diesel Mechanics Training Center is a 12,400 square foot addition to the East end of the Industry and Transportation Technology Center on the Springfield campus of Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC). A portion of the project is funded through a $1 million-dollar grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration. The project consists of four new truck bays and classrooms with learning labs that provide hands-on learning environments that are collaborative and customizable. The project utilizes the same exterior facade materials as the existing ITTC building; therefore, making it look and feel like a natural addition to the building and campus. Site Public Improvements had to be made to relocate sanitary sewer and storm sewer to make the project possible. New driveways were added on the north and south sides to allow semi-truck traffic in and out of the facility. Gates are provided at each driveway attached to the re-configured brick pier and ornamental fencing on-site.
