MSSU // Cornell Auditorium Renovation

The interior renovation of the existing Cornell Auditorium at Missouri Southern State University led to the transformation of a dark, outdated, and unwelcoming space into a brighter, more modern environment. By completely gutting the auditorium, the design team was able to revamp the character of the space. New lighting, flooring, and seating was installed throughout in a thoughtful layout that allows for better mobility through rows and between aisles. MSSU’s signature school colors provided a modern palette for wall and flooring accents. Antiquated technology was replaced with a new sound system, projector, screen, and control systems. Interior finish and lighting updates to the lobby leading into the auditorium provides the venue with a cohesive and inviting aesthetic.
