Laclede County | Emergency Call Center

Project Type
Municipal/Civic
Location
Lebanon, MO

Paragon is currently working with the Laclede County Presiding Commissioner and Sheriff, as well as with other members of the commissioner board and sheriff’s department, maintenance staff, and other county officials on a 10,000 square-foot addition to the existing Laclede County Sheriff’s office.  The completed building will provide additional office space for the sheriff’s department administration as well as a tornado shelter protected emergency call center space.  Key features of the project include the emergency call center, sheriff’s office conference room, county meeting room, and exterior plaza design.  Plaza upgrades will mean improved ADA access to the building while also creating space for public addresses and gatherings.

One goal of the design team is to employ a similar exterior design and style as the existing building.  In addition, the design team has been tasked with utilizing foundation stones of the previously demolished jail as site elements or site features.  Laclede County has also asked the design team to provide Historical placards and site elements to be incorporated into a future historic walking trail.  Lastly, the site will include improved way finding from the public parking spaces to the sheriff’s office and the county courthouse.
