CoxHealth Catheterization Lab Renovations – Suites A & D

Paragon worked with CoxHealth to renovate several existing Catheterization Labs.  Renovations to Cath Lab A and Lab D consisted of updating their interior finishes, fixtures, lighting, and cabinetry, while providing ample space for CoxHealth to bring in new imaging equipment.  One major challenge of the Lab D project was that it took place towards the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the project needed to be completed quickly.  To address this challenge, the Paragon team implemented a compressed design phase.  We worked closely with the owner and contractor to make sure the logistics and equipment delivery was choreographed efficiently and delays were minimized.  The renovated suite was successfully opened and operational by April of 2021.  Both Lab renovations required skillful coordination of trades, heavy MEP engineering involvement, and scheduling around daily operations and the delivery of the imaging equipment.
