Ozarks Technical Community College // eSports Computer Gaming Lab

Colleges and universities across the country are introducing new extracurricular eSports programs.  Paragon Architecture recently partnered with Ozarks Technical Community College to renovate existing classrooms for a new eSports lab.  The classroom includes 13 new gaming stations, a conference area, practice area, lockers for students to store their equipment in, a small kitchenette, and a lounge space. Creating fun features to garner interest is key, so our design team packed the space with unique design elements, including exposed structural beams and glass wall.  From the ceiling to the floor, design features help divide the space in two for tournament play and color changing lights cast a glow of the team colors.  A renovation of the adjacent circulation space outside the computer lab provides an area for spectating and promoting the program to those that pass by.
